...But instead, you are starving, and you call your husband on the way home from work to tell him how much you want a cheeseburger. And because you are spoiled he takes you out to dinner within 10 minutes of your getting home. We did WALK, so shut it!
(Google Maps says it was a little over 2 miles round trip. I'm choosing to count it as a work out.)
We'd meant to go to Thurmans but it was, as predicted, crazy crowded. As in......tons of people waiting outside and a full lobby inside. At 5:40 in the evening. Damn that TV show appearance. No matter, just down the street is Easy Street Cafe, another favorite of ours and you know what? I had a cheeseburger in front of me in 20 minutes.
We always get the Hummus and Tzatziki Plate. It was pretty good but this time the humus had a weird texture...kinda like the time I tried to make it. Anyways, I never think they give you enough Pita but all the more Tzatziki to dip your fries in!
I had the Woody Allen: Lettuce, Tomato, Sauteed Onion and Blue Cheese. It was delicious. But huge, I couldn't eat it all.

Mike had the Greek Gyro, which was also awesome and I totally ate the leftovers the next day for lunch. I'm hoping he didn't notice.

Oh, and one more thing, I guess despite all my blah blahing about how it's still NovemberILovePumpkins, it's officially "The Holidays," because the Great Lakes on offer was the Christmas Ale. It IS delicious...
